Every treatment at Lumen starts with a consultation, and we do not treat on the same day. That surprises some people, so here is what the appointment is for.
We look before we talk
Your doctor examines your face at rest and in movement under a good lamp, and asks what bothers you. Often the thing you have noticed and the thing that would change it are not in the same place. Tired eyes are frequently a cheek question, for example.
We talk about what we would not do
A good plan says what to leave alone as clearly as what to treat. If we think a treatment will not help, or you are not a suitable candidate for it, we say so and you pay nothing for the consultation.
You leave with a written plan
Treatments, prices, expected downtime and the order we suggest, on one page. Take it home. There is no expiry and no pressure to book before you leave.
