Downtime, honestly

"No downtime" is one of the most overused phrases in aesthetics. Here is what to expect from ours, treatment by treatment.

Anti-wrinkle injections

Small bumps at the injection points for an hour or so. Occasionally a pinprick bruise. You can go back to work.

Dermal filler

Mild swelling for a day or two, and a bruise is possible. Lips swell the most and settle within 48 hours. We suggest not booking filler in the week before an event.

Skin boosters

A grid of tiny marks that fades over one to two days. Make-up can go on after 12 hours.

Peels and microneedling

Pink for a day, then flaking for two to four days with a medium peel. Microneedling looks like mild sunburn on the evening of treatment.

Laser

Redness for a few hours. Pigmentation darkens first and lifts over a week. Daily SPF is not optional.
